Terms ofservice

Purpose and scope

These terms set out the basic conditions between LINKERPARTNERS (“we”) and you when we provide consulting and build services that help businesses expand between Korea and Japan. The scope and conditions of each service are written in the quote. If the quote differs from these terms, the quote applies.

Services and quotes

The scope, timeline and fee of each service are written in the quote we send after we talk. Fees and timelines on the site are a guide; the quote is final.

When a contract begins

A contract begins when you agree to the scope and fee in the quote and we confirm it. You can agree by replying by email or chat.

Fees and payment

Fees are shown excluding VAT. Payment timing and method follow the quote.

• Running costs such as ad spend, domains and servers, and outside experts such as translation reviewers, tax advisers and customs brokers, are quoted separately
• Yen amounts are for reference

Revisions and changes of scope

The number and scope of revisions follow the quote. For requests beyond the scope, we give you the timeline and fee first and proceed once you agree.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancellations and refund requests follow the criteria written in the quote, and the cost of work already done is settled. We explain the specific criteria for each service before the contract.

Your cooperation

To keep things moving, please send the materials and confirmations we need on time. If materials arrive late, the schedule may shift with them.

Rights in deliverables

The right to use deliverables passes to you once we have received the full fee. Elements that carry third-party rights, such as fonts, images and plug-ins, follow their own terms of use. We publish deliverables and cases in our portfolio only with your consent.

Confidentiality

We use the information we learn through our work only for the purpose of the service, and share it outside the company only with your consent. We can sign an NDA from the first call if you wish.

About results

Sales, rankings and ad results depend on the market. The service provides professional advice and production; it is not a contract for a specific result.

Outside experts

When a specialist area such as tax, customs or development is needed, we point you to outside experts. Your contract and fees with them are agreed between you and the expert.

Limit of liability

Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, our liability is limited to the amount we received for the service concerned. Delays caused by matters beyond our control, such as natural disasters or outages of outside services, are not covered.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we post a notice on this site. Contracts already started stay under the terms in force when they began.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. We first try to settle any dispute by discussion; if it cannot be settled, it goes to the court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
